Business Flourished

Business flourished which led to the two brothers to upgrade their retail outlet in the 1930’s. Their success was short lived until the second World War broke out. The shop was destroyed by a German air-raid bombing in 1942, the same air raid that destroyed the Royal Opera House at Strada Reale, Valletta.
